The Process

Grey Matters International offers a very unique, comprehensive & customizable approach to “major life issue” recovery founded upon advanced neuroscience-based processes. While meeting the client’s geographical needs, we are able to utilize innovative recovery techniques based upon Neuroplasticity science that addresses all psychologically based problems from a core perspective. Neuroplasticity is an enhanced brain-change technology that approaches mental and emotional health through the doorway of primitive, instinctive thought processes that underlay advanced human thought.

There are two kinds of thinking taking place within the brain:

System 1 – The unconscious brain which acts largely on instinct and learned or repetitive behaviors

System 2 – The rational, cognitive brain that uses refined thinking, filters & logic to keep the primitive brain in check

You see, the brain is a pattern-making organ that will convince you that inner change & improvement is occurring, while it silently continues the same old thinking and the same patterns. Most traditional psychological and spiritual approaches are founded on half-truths that are merely relaxation-based, emotion-based or information-based. These approaches are too rational and why research has discovered tons of cognitive biases related to illusory thinking around these types of self-change efforts. The intended goal of true inner change cannot occur when the approach is based on nothing more than thought and perception.
